Baig Academy is a ministry-inspected institute providing high school education in Mississauga, Ontario. We are dedicated to helping our students achieve great success through our approach of providing small class sizes and personalized one-on-one interaction. Our goal is to create a learning experience that enhances students' knowledge and skills and prepares them for future success in their educational and work endeavors. About Javed Faruqui
Javed Faruqui is a highly accomplished educator and the principal of Baig Academy. With over two decades of experience in the field of education, he has made a significant impact on the lives of countless students in Ontario. Over time, his talents and skills expanded, and he became an expert in teaching various subjects such as mathematics, business, and social studies. Javed holds bachelor's degrees in both business and psychology and a master's degree in education. He is a compassionate educator who understands the unique needs and challenges that students face. He is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student success.
Our Team
Imran Haque is a very experienced mathematician who has been a teacher at Baig Academy for many years and has also taught physics courses. He started teaching because he wanted to try a new field of work, after having worked as an engineer for decades. He shows a keen interest in the needs and wants of his students. His passion includes playing golf.
Tanika Blake is a shining star at Baig Academy, both as a teacher and as an administrator. She resolves almost any situational problem that we face as a school or those of our students. She is the "go-to" person around here. She got into teaching from an opportunity at her church, after having worked in many different fields.
Shahla Khan is a great motivator to our students and has many years of teaching experience in English and Social Studies courses at the high school level. She engages students in their studies, especially through collaborative work. She stumbled upon high school teaching while looking for a job as an ESL and TOEFL instructor.
Sarah Masoodi knows how to simplify the complicated so that students can catch on quickly. She strengthens weak students' skills in the sciences effectively.
Arshia Sultana English and Social Studies teacher, who is Ontario Certified Teacher with over 15 years of experience.
